Overview

Gists are small, focused pieces of code, often just a few lines or a single function, that developers share frequently. GitHub Gists pioneered the concept and remain popular, but they have limitations. ShellBase builds on the gist idea with better organization, more powerful sharing options, versioning, and collaboration features. Unlike traditional gists that live in isolation, ShellBase snippets fit into a broader ecosystem where you can tag them, organize them into folders and collections, embed them in other sites, and control who sees them with granular access controls.
